Toilet sign board in braille (not clear but they are below english words).
How do blind people find this board that is placed on wall in first place.
Its not about adding features we should make sure they are needed.

Please keep the door clean by not touching and using handle. Who is gonna read it while using it? How can one expect it to happen?
With in few minutes after this photograph was taken, I saw waiter using his body (as he has tray in his hands) to open the glass door.

Where do good ideas come from?

Here is nice presentation about research he has done to understand how ideas come or develop.

Interesting presentation as well..

I really like part on exploring environment impact or part in the process. And Internet being helpful to some extent in this process…

Itunes new release (left) had some changes to interface compared to previous versions (on right). I would like to highlight two important changes I think would impact usability.
Options to minimise, maximise and close on top left: They changed from traditional horizontal to vertical, which may not be too big learning curve, but would make users think for a while.
Volume access interface: They changed to interface looking like loading interface ball element, but I like size as it is prominent.
Visually, I really like colorful icons in old interface which helps users to identify, but new interface the gray color icons are not appealing.

Visualisation of data

Human being are very good at understanding visual information. We now have more information and data than ever being produced and consumed daily.

TO increase consumption of data we need to adopt/innovate data visualisation in our design.

Here are some cool websites I came across
